Officiating Certification Information

Last season was the second season where your officiating certification information was included with your membership record.  We will be using that process again this season.  Your officiating certification (when completed) will print out on your membership card as well as your team's roster.

Working Junior Tournaments

If you are interested in working junior tournaments as an official and you are new or have only worked junior tournaments for two seasons or less, take the scorekeeper and referee clinics and tests online and contact Marilyn Thompson to set up your rating session.  If you have worked junior tournaments for more than two seasons, take the scorekeeper and referee clinics and tests online and contact Marilyn Thompson to check rating status.  You will receive information on how to become certified when you sign up through your online membership record at USA Volleyball online.

Region Sponsored Clinics

At Carolina Region sponsored clinics:  Check-in begins 30 minutes before each session, Junior teams are limited to no more than 5 players per clinic per team attending one of the Junior’s clinics, so please confirm as a team which 5 will be registering online before submitting names.  If a team has 5 players eligible for the re-cert clinic they can send 5 to the re-cert clinic and 5 more to the full clinic.

Club Sponsored Clinics

Club sponsored clinics have been arranged by the club for their club members.  They may have room for others and may charge a fee of up to $5 to help defray their expenses of hosting the clinic.  You will need to contact the club and receive their permission to register for their clinic.
