Chuck McCracken
Chuck McCracken has extensive experience coaching at the NCAA Division III level as well as USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Volleyball Program. His boys 14 & under team took 3rd at the 1990 AAU National Volleyball Championships and his boys 16 & under team finished 11th at the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in 1991.
McCracken is known for his technical understanding of the game and his teams are characterized by their fundamentally sound and intelligent play.
McCracken was a 3-year starter on the men’s volleyball team at Earlham College that placed 4th at the NAIA National Tournament his senior year.
While at Guilford College, McCracken led the Quakers to their first NCAA National Tournament appearance and second Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship in 1993, receiving Coach-of-the Year honors from the conference. Two players received Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player-of-the-Year Awards while playing for McCracken.
McCracken is certified at Level III in the Coaching Accreditation Program and IMPACT by USA Volleyball. He is also an instructor for the USA Volleyball IMPACT (Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory) certification program.
Glenn Cashion
Glenn Cashion is the Head Coach at Grimsley High School. He has been the Head Coach at Page High School and was the Assistant Coach at Guilford College for 6 years. In 1995 & ’96 he established the women’s volleyball club at UNCG and assisted the varsity squad for Mid State 2-A conference champion Western Guilford High School.
An avid doubles player, Cashion has played USA Volleyball for several years. His team won the Carolina Region A Division championship in 1993 and took second in 1995. He has coached in the Piedmont Volleyball Club since 1994. In 1995 his 16 & under team, and in 1997 his 18 & under team won the Carolina Regional championship and went to the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic National Tournament.
Cashion is certified at Level II in the Coaching Accreditation Program and IMPACT by USA Volleyball.
