Camp Philosophy

There are basically three types of camps – “Developmental”, “Elite” and “Headliner”.

Our camps are “Developmental” because emphasis is on (1) individual skill improvement, (2) maximum number of ball contacts, (3) motivation, (4) consistent skill instruction and (5) quality time with each player (less skilled to the most skilled).  Basic skills and fundamentals will be the focus of the camp experience.  Homogenous grouping (based on the current skill level of each participant) is done so that the sessions can be designed to meet the needs of the players for ultimate progress.

We are not a “Headliner”, where name coaches and/or players are advertised and come in for a day or part of a day for presentations without personally working with the campers for the full camp experience.

Likewise, we are not an “Elite” camp where we purport to identify the selected players and then devote the majority of court time to scrimmage situations.  We do group campers by skill level to assist coaches in planning sessions where their main concern is personalized skill development for every player.
