General Information - Junior Tournaments
Quest For Excellence Tournament
Play begins: 9:00 AM on Saturday and 8 AM on Sunday.
City: Greensboro, NC
Hosts: Quest For Excellence Sports, Lucky Dog Volleyball and Greensboro Sportsplex.
Sanctioned: Carolina Region - USA Volleyball.
Registration and Information: We are using Advanced Event Systems (select the Mid-Atlantic Power League Championship/Quest Tournament) for registration and results.
Officials: We will provide the first referee for all matches. Each team must provide the second referee, scorekeeper, assistant scorekeeper and two lines people. The second referee and scorekeeper must be certified. All members of the officiating team must be registered members of USA Volleyball (parents my not call lines unless they are on the roster or can show their membership card). This is a USA Volleyball insurance requirement.
Coaches' Meeting: Will be held at their respective gyms on Saturday morning, 8:30 AM.
Coaches should carry a completed copy of each Player's Medical Release form throughout the event. It is their responsibility to have them in their possession at all times in case of injury to a player. Coaches should also have a correct Team Roster on hand.
Hotels: The host hotel is Comfort Inn (336) 297-1055 on Lanada Road near the intersection of I-40 and Wendover Avenue.
Awards: Team awards will go to the team that wins each Gold playoff division. Individual awards will be given to team members of teams that finish first in the Gold Division of their age division. Only players that are present and registered are eligible for awards.
